Here's a new one with an early watercolor shadow pass. It's ready for the rest of the color. I drew it with a Pilot Custom 823 FA fountain pen, which is my favorite pen at the moment.
I love this pen because it has an incredible nib which is soft and offers a gentle bounce and even line variation with pressure. The width is perfect for detailed work. The body has enough weight to feel it in your hand but not to be distracting or tiring. And finally, it holds a massive quantity of ink so you can always count on it to write.
Holbein watercolors is what I'll be coloring this one with. While I probably should explore other watercolor brands - I love this one so much I don't intend to look elsewhere.
